Get Spooky With McCormick
Halloween is just days away. I’m only halfway ready. Do you have your costumes ready? How about candy for those super scary trick or treaters? Or perhaps you’re on your second or third round of candy? It’s okay, fess up. I promise not to judge. We’ve all been there.
Thankfully, with the help of some fantastic products provided by McCormick, I was able to whip up some spooky treats to get in the Halloween mood. Don’t miss these tasty and easy goblin goo parfaits! They’re adult and kid approved!
McCormick wants you to get spooky in the kitchen! They’ve offered to provide one reader with a fun prize pack (as seen in the first photo). Clearly we were really excited by the chocolate eyeballs since only a few lasted long enough for photos. Oops!

My favorite Halloween memory is the year my parents threw a surprise Halloween party for my brother, and myself, and our cousins. I was a genie that year, and my brother was a sultan. Mom always made our costumes, and they were always so good. My parents had the house all decorated, and one of our rooms they had made into a mini haunted house, we played games, and had prizes, and goodie bags. We had a costume contest and a pie eating contest (which I won). My mom had made all kinds of halloween themed goodies for us to eat, and my dad put on a really bad magic show lol. It was so much fun. And my cousins and I still reminisce about it to this day.

My favorite Halloween was throwing a costume party for all of my friends when I lived in Australia. They had never celebrated it before!
We never went trick or treating as kids. Instead, we always went over to my grandpas house, to carve pumpkins and make caramel apples! And of course, we had to watch The Great Pumpkin!

my mom made my twin sister and I little bow peep costumes. They were awesome. We had dresses that poofed out and bonnets and even the hooked cane (not sure what the correct name for them is) She did an amazing job on them and we were the two happiest girls that Halloween, for sure. (thank you mom, we miss you)
My favorite memory is probably just the general memory of every year spilling all my candy out in the living room with my younger sister after trick or treating and spending an hour organizing it all!
I enjoy watching my grandchildren get excited
We would always dress up in homemade costumes and visit my grandparents house to trick or treat.
Favorite memory- green two headed monster costume. My brother and I must have worn that 10 times!
My favorite memory is when we all got home from trick or treating, and my father would “check out” all of our goodies for any bad items or unsafe ones, and then proceed to pick out the Hershey’s Chocolate for himself….. he would always make a show of it and we would just laugh….
My favorite Halloween memory was when my mom and my aunt dressed my cousin and I up as robots one year for Halloween. It was special because they actually made those outfits from cardboard boxes and tin foil. No store bought costumes when money was tight and I don’t actually remember buying costumes from a store when I was growing up. We looked fab and I still think of that particular robot year with fondness!
My favorite halloween memory is eating candy corn!
My favorite memory was the feeling of walking around the neighborhood with my friends and possibly my two younger sisters. I currently live in FL but this was in SE PA. So it was cool outside. I can still visualize the trees and various shrubs at many of the houses we visited. And mostly, we were alone (parents stayed behind to hand out candy). It’s hard to explain….it’s just a really nice childhood memory.
My mom making all my costumes like a bunch of grapes one year :)

I think my favorite memory is when my kids were small and we’d go trick or treating. One Halloween they insisted I dress up so I grabbed a few old clothes, made up my face, created a knap sack and went out as a hobo.
Halloween is fun!
