Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe from bakedbyrachel.com

Today is the day! It’s the last day of school! Summer break begins at 11:10 yay!! No more schedules. No more checking the time to make sure we don’t miss the bus. Lazy fun days of summer are here and I only hope they’re fantastic. They are what you make them so I’ll do my best to make them happy and memorable days of summer. I’m still in a total debate over if we’ll be making a zoo day Friday or not. It’s the one day all summer it’ll be free so I’m really tempted to go but then there’s the though that everyone else will be doing the same thing so it might be mobbed and I hate crowds. I might just suck it up and go. I’ll let you know next week. Or you can stalk my Instagram feed to see if anything fun shows up.

If we don’t go, I might have to make a double batch of this insanely good hot fudge sauce and slather it all over every dessert in sight. I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s meant for. Or just eating it with a spoon. Either way is totally acceptable in my book. Not only is it super tasty and smooth but it’s seriously easy to make. Forget heating up a jar of store bought stuff in the microwave, that in many cases probably has ingredients with four or more syllables. And we can all agree that’s just plain wrong. I have, however, found a local company that keeps it super simple with all normal and basic and very easy to pronounce ingredients. That’s my go to store bought fudge sauce, but homemade is worlds better. And again… it’s so easy so why not spend the handful of minutes and whip up a batch for yourself. Then you’ll see how easy it is and want to make more to share with your family and friends. They’ll love you to pieces if you make some for them too. Can you imagine getting a jar of tasty homemade hot fudge sauce? I’d be thrilled. Chocolate in a jar. Yes please!

PS I have something super awesome coming up that you can use this IN. But that’s all the hint I’m going to give you. ;) Come back Friday to find out…

Be sure to prep this while you wait!
