Almost Wordless Wednesday: Visitors

The red squirrel is back.

Neighborhood woodpecker – slightly fascinating to watch. Don’t you think pecking away at a tree would give you a headache?

And as much as I’d like to forget, this week we’ve also seen plenty of mosquitoes, spiders, hornets and other varieties of bees. Oh and a hummingbird… that I’d have loved to have gotten a picture of to share but they don’t stick around quite long enough for that to happen.

Have a happy Wednesday! :)

wow – gorgeous shots, I’m impressed… we have many critters around our place too and I know how difficult it is to get a good photo.

The woodpecker was by far the hardest to get a good shot of. He wasn’t cooperating with my plans.

You’ve got two of my favorite critters right there at the end. I love chipmunks and robins, especially robins. :) Fantastic photos.

Such great pictures! I love the pileated woodpecker! We used to have a pair with a nest in our backyard until the tree came down. I loved listening to them. Miss them.
