I somehow always seem to get sick around the holidays. Last year it was around Thanksgiving and this year … the last two weeks. Straight through the holidays. Fun times. It’s kind of driving me nuts at this point, though I think I may have finally hit that point where things are on the up swing. Only time will tell for sure. Of course that means I’ll have to be productive again. Being sick gives me an excuse to be lazy and watch old movies or shows, when I should otherwise be getting things done.

I rediscovered Sleepless in Seattle the other day. It had been tucked away in the back of our DVD collection, unwatched for a ridiculously long time. I’m not sure what made me decide to watch it but it’s such a fun movie to revisit. I almost wish Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan did more movies together. Then again… they’re kind of the same in both movies they were in together so maybe that’s enough and we shouldn’t push it. No need to spoil a good thing.

It’s kind of like how I loved Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper together in Silver Linings Playbook, but then they went on to do at least three more movies together and now I’m just over them together. Or Richard Gere and Julia Roberts… the two movies was enough and that’s as far as it should go.

So, yup… there should be a two movie cap on actors playing couples in movies… unless it’s a series and then that’s a whole other story.

I love convenience but I also love making things myself too…clearly. When it comes to dressings and sauces, it’s totally a mixed bag for me. I’d say easily half of the time I buy my favorite because sometimes you can’t beat the flavor of your favorite brand. But then there are items I absolutely love making myself…because I’ve found that perfect balance of flavor and now there’s no going back to store bought.

In this case… it’s honey mustard dressing. Which just so happens to be a perfect multi-purpose item. It’s an amazing salad dressing but it’s also an incredible marinade or dipping sauce!

Quick. Simple. Flavorful. That’s exactly how this dressing should be described.

Ditch the store bought and whip up this easy honey mustard dressing for your next salad, snack or dinner!
