On The 12th Day of Christmas…A KitchenAid Food Processor Giveaway CLOSED!
But that’s not all (not to sound like an infomercial) I only make pie dough in my food processor now. It’s such a major pain by hand, so one day I tried it and I’m never ever ever going back to the old way again (okay now Taylor Swift is stuck in my head…sorry about that). I blend meat for wontons…which btw are a total must make for New Years. Crush and mix ingredients for cheesecake crust. That’s not even touching the spectrum of how much I love and use this but you get the idea.
I had an old food processor, well loved and used but it got to the point where I was literally scared I’d hurt myself removing the blades and discs because they would get stuck so tight. I promise I’m not exaggerating. One of the many features that I love about the KitchenAid 13-cup food processor is there is no chance for blades or discs to get stuck, so I don’t have a single fear using it! [rss-cut]
Here are a just a few of the awesome features:
TWO… that’s right two bowls! Included is a 13 cup and 4 cup bowl that nestle together
2 multipurpose blades and 1 dough blade
An adjustable slicing disc, for thin to thick slices
A reversible shredding disc
Storage bin
Did I mention that it’s really light weight and super easy to use?!
I love it and I think you’ll love it too. SO…as a thank you for being amazing readers and fans, I want you to have one!

Sadly, I have to work both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve this year (for the first time in .. probably ever), but Christmas Eve was fabulous, as my older daughters helped by cooking much of the food before I got out of work! New Year’s will be a simple stay-at-home, give my son some fake champagne while making him think it’s real, watch the ball drop, wait for the phone calls, then sleep and wake up to a chance at a fresh start day!
Just found your website. Love cooking. We spent time with family and enjoyed a holiday meal together. I just started following you on FB andf Pinterest.
My plans are to stay home and relax.

We share Christmas day with friends, having a lot of food and fun. And we stay home on New Years and watch football.

We lost my mom 2 years ago at Christmas. Her life mantra was, “Collect moments…” We have spent the holiday season together collecting life moments, laughing and enjoying fun times. Cooking is a favorite family time to collect moments–nothing brings family together like food. Happy New Year to all! Hoping you have a year filled with amazing life moments.
We went to my daughters house and had dinner with the family, it was so nice!

We will have some friends over to play games. We are throwing mattresses down everywhere so no one will need to drive home that night!
I traveled out of town over Christmas to visit relatives and got caught in a blizzard. Had a great time anyway.

I didn’t really have any plans this year. We just made a major move from TX to CO so we couldn’t really afford to do anything. Next year though, we’re gonna party!

For Christmas–the family was here on Christmas Eve, which is our normal activity. For New Year’s, my daughter plans to be here for a TV marathon, although I doubt I will be able to stay up for it. DVRs are good!
