On The 5th Day of Christmas…A Hershey’s Giveaway Closed!
Months ago I cleaned out my baking cabinet of all of the possibly peanut and tree nut contaminated chocolate. I know that probably sounds harsh but I’d rather play it safe whenever possible so there isn’t a mixup. I read the labels but once it’s in my home, I want it to be obvious that it’s safe or not. Everything I’m keeping that isn’t safe is high up out of the reach of little hands.Once you’re thrown into the nut free world it’s alarming the number of products that aren’t completely safe. I mean chocolate of all things. I get that there are nuts in chocolate and even chocolate wrapped around soft amazing peanut butter which I absolutely love but safe chocolate is such a nice change of pace.
Hershey’s chocolate is my absolute go to chocolate. Not only is it tasty to just nibble on but it’s perfect for baking. Huge bonus, most of their regular baking chocolate is nut free! You should always check the package before purchasing or using, but so far so good here. Baking melts as seen in oatmeal peppermint cookies and Hershey’s kisses as seen in gingerbread kiss cookies…safe! Yay!
In addition to baking chocolate, Hershey’s has a fantastic variety of products… including the ever popular Reese’s, Mr Goodbar, Twizzlers and Kit Kats. All of which I’m completely in love with. I’m kind of obsessed with this giant Hershey’s Kiss. And this medium Hershey’s Kiss would be such a cute addition to stockings! A chocolate Christmas would be awesome.
