An easy and refreshing 4-ingredient fruit smoothie that is bursting with flavor!

I finally got to watch The Martian over the weekend. If you’ve been holding off on watching it for any reason, you definitely need to add it to your must see list. It was longer than I would’ve expected for a movie that, for the most part, took place in one area. I jokingly compared it to Phone Booth, thankfully it wasn’t anything like that. I wasn’t bored, even the slightest bit. And given that it went later than I would normally have stayed up, I also didn’t fall asleep. I can’t say the same for many other movies. They definitely have to hold my interest or I’ll easily fall asleep if it’s getting late.

We’re totally slacking on the gingerbread house thing this year. I bought a kit way back in early December, with intentions of obviously decorating it before Christmas. We forgot. It sat untouched, in it’s box. So, we moved on to it being a Valentine project. Oops… that didn’t happen either. I guess the good thing is maybe we can reuse some of the Valentine candy for a St Patrick’s Day house… right? I might have to buy another bag of hearts so it can have a rainbow roof and find some gold coins. But, it could totally work. I hope. If not… it’ll be an Easter house. The good thing is that it doesn’t get eaten so it doesn’t really matter if it gets old. I’m sure it does have some kind of expiration date though. I should look into that. I promise I’ll report back as soon as it’s made. Or, just keep an eye out on Instagram or Snapchat. I’m sure I’ll share about it there.

Also… what is up with this weather?! The groundhog sure is a giant liar. I swear the moment after he announced Spring was coming, we got hit with snow. And then again. And then over this past weekend we got hit with extreme temps… a real feel of -41°F early Sunday morning. Brrr. I’m SO ready for Spring. Back in December and January we were way above our typical temps and now we’re way waaaay below average. I like roller coasters but not when it comes to the weather.

I’m not a regular smoothie maker because I find most recipes can be bland or just not meet my expectations. I’m also not a fan of greens in my drinks. I have a thing about green drinks. Even if people swear they taste good or you can’t taste the veggie, my brain is hardwired to not trust that.

Smoothie’s should typically be bright and fun colors, screaming of their fruitiness. Not green.

This smoothie is anything but bland. It’s quite possibly the best smoothie I’ve ever had and definitely my favorite homemade smoothie so far. This simple 4-ingredient smoothie is absolutely bursting with flavor. It got thumbs up from everyone in the entire family! A big win!

If you love fruit smoothies that actually taste fruity… and good, you definitely need to try this easy strawberry pineapple smoothie. I’m positive you’ll love it!
