A month of incredible guest posts, concluding with a creamy apple drink courtesy of Kristen from Dine and Dish. Though I’ve never met Kristen, I feel we have a special connection…a bond if you will, between mothers of children who do completely ridiculous things. She isn’t aware of our bond of course. It’s okay. Let’s all bond over some delicious apple cider smoothies. I bet they’d taste extra good with a splash of something ‘special’. I won’t tell if you don’t. Thanks Kristen!

Hi Baked by Rachel fans! I’m glad to be here as part of the month long apple event Rachel is hosting!

I work some with Green Mountain Coffee and have been spending the last few weeks developing recipes using their awesome Apple Cider. I’m a total fan of their beverages, so it’s a great partnership for me. Since I’ve been elbow deep in apple cider recipes, I thought it would be only natural to use Green Mountain Coffee’s apple cider in a recipe for Rachel’s party!

I realized as I was thinking about what to share that apples tend to get the shaft at breakfast. Have you noticed that? I made it my mission to change that and created this tasty apple cider smoothie recipe. My kids love apples and if it’s possible to start the day off with a delicious and healthy apple cider drink, then certainly the day will be great, right?

Happy smoothie drinking! Enjoy!
