Next week I’m going away to visit a good friend, so the timing of this post couldn’t be more perfect. This gave me an opportunity to play pack and get my brain in actual packing mode. I’m a total list maker so you better believe I’ll be making a list to check off and maybe even double check so I’m 110% sure I didn’t forget anything, though I’m sure I’ll still forget something but only because I didn’t put it on the list in the first place.

Before I get to what I fit in my Lo & Sons OMG bag, I have to tell you about some super cool features. But can we please start with the color because I swear that’s one of my favorite things about this bag. The plum color is just gorgeous! Not too bright, just right.

You might already be thinking, “I already have a carry-on bag, why would I need another?” Because this isn’t just a carry-on bag. It’s more than that. It’s a day trip, travel, you name it bag with style and functionality that is both built and designed well.

This bag has pockets galore, including three which have access from the outside of the bag! One of those can fit a pair of shoes! How cool is that? If you’re bringing a second pair of shoes with you but don’t want everything else in your bag to get dirty, just put them in this special shoe pocket! When not using that special section, you’ll have that much more room in the main compartment of the bag. My second favorite pocket is the section specific to holding an iPad, small laptop, paperwork or magazines. It has added padding and a strap to secure the contents.

So next to the color, tons of pockets, padding, and shoe compartment… I love that this bag has metal feet! That means the bag has that much more of a chance of staying clean! Think about all of the dirty places (or unknowingly dirty) you put your bag down. Those feet will be a lifesaver (or bag saver).

Below you’ll see everything I added to my OMG bag… sneakers, hairbrush, makeup bag, 3 magazines (I’ve got to have some research for the flight), fuzzy peaches (I’m trying so hard to forget I have these until my trip), camera, wallet, liquids bag, iPad, iPhone, cord, charger, plus scarf and gloves (I told you it’s cold!). After all of that there was still plenty of room and many pockets not even used! I could easily fit a fresh change of clothes too. This bag is roomy and will absolutely become my new favorite travel bag!
