Giant fluffy cinnamon rolls with a sweet maple glaze. A perfect addition to breakfast or brunch!
I recently had the pleasure of taking a mini trip up to Vermont. I’ve previously talked about how absolutely gorgeous it was and how this was my first ever visit there, even though I’ve lived in New England my entire life. I’d happily vacation there time and time again, with some planning. The areas we ventured to were far from seemingly everything. A drive to everywhere, which I’m used to but just not to that degree. The beauty of the area absolutely makes up for all of the driving.
What I wasn’t prepared for was to still see snow. After our long winter, that wasn’t an inviting sight. However, it wasn’t as bad as it sounds. Mounds here and there, nothing major. But still… snow. Fingers crossed we don’t see any more of it for quite a while!
We stayed at the Top Notch Resort. A gorgeous mountain view resort with touches of Vermont and New England throughout the facilities. From locally sourced food to the subtle details within the rooms, it was a nice change of pace from city hotels.
On our second day, we toured and brunched at the Stowe Mountain Lodge. An amazing resort and the only ski in/ski out resort in the area! I’m not a skier, but I’d absolutely be willing to give it a try knowing they have amazing classes and ski valets to get your gear ready for you! Let’s not forget the incredible spa facilities. I could have moved into that wing of the resort. Stunning and truly relaxing!
One of my many favorite moments of the trip was learning about the maple syrup process and… taste testing at Butternut Mountain Farm. It was such a tasty and educational experience. I love when those worlds combine! I’m always happy to learn when food is involved.
We had the most amazing dinner at Hilton Burlington. A fun tasting dinner with multiple courses. But what really blew me away was the sunset over Lake Champlain. I could get used to that view. It makes me want to pack up and spend the summer there. Such a beautiful sight!
I’m a huge fan of brunch and breakfast… any time of day is fine by me! It doesn’t have to be morning to enjoy all of the flavorful breakfast-y foods. Because Father’s day is upon us, I wanted to create something that tied together my tasty travels to Vermont and my favorite meal of the day!
Easy homemade (GIANT) fluffy cinnamon rolls with a sweet maple glaze. They’re a perfect addition to all of your breakfast and brunching plans! And, an absolutely must make this Father’s day. I promise Dad will be thrilled if you make these. My family couldn’t get enough of these fluffy maple glazed cinnamon rolls! I’m sure yours will be the same!
