We’re taking a mini vacation from food today. Venturing into the land of shoes. Specifically, Tieks ballet flats.

Why shoes? Why not? I wear shoes. Everyone wears shoes.

I love shoes. And I hope you do too.

But more importantly, I love shoes that are comfortable. As I’m sure everyone would agree on, because uncomfortable shoes are never any fun. Sure, sometimes a girl might shove herself into shoes that are gorgeous even if they aren’t comfortable. Why? I’m not entirely sure because I swear I’ve never done that. But when you’re on your feet all day, whether it be for errands, in the kitchen, chasing after kids etc… you need comfortable shoes.

I’ve tried my fair share of flats and they’ve all seemed to have one issue or another. Until now.

I’ve heard a lot of people raving about Tieks so I knew I had to try them out for myself and find out what all the hype was about. Were they really as comfy and cute as everyone was saying? Would they really stand up? Are they really practical?

These ballet flats are made of super soft leather, hand stitched and finished with a signature turquoise blue sole. Or rather, a two part sole! This two part sole makes for easy folding, it’s perfect for walking and storing of your shoes.

Pop them in your bag and change your shoes on the fly. Need to wear boots or heels but don’t want to wear them all day? No problem. Bring your Tieks and change into them later! Such an ingenious idea.

You can see and feel the quality inside and out, from the cushioned heel to the hand stitching, and so much more. These are by far the best flats I’ve tried and can wear them all day without a problem.

Truthfully, I thought having a split sole would feel weird, but you don’t notice it.

As for sizing, I did a lot of research on this. Tieks only come in whole sizes. I took a chance and ordered the nearest whole size up, as I’m typically a half size. They recommend sizing down, but from reading other reviews I knew going to the closest whole size up, for me, would be the best bet and I’m so glad I did. They fit perfect! If you’re a half size and sometimes size down or up, go whichever way you normally buy.

I couldn’t just tell you about these amazing shoes though. That wouldn’t be fair.
