Apple Cheddar Biscuits

A quick and easy recipe for sweet and savory apple cheddar drop biscuits.

  • 2 C self rising flour
  • 1 C extra sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded
  • 1 C heavy cream
  • 1 C apple chopped


  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • In a large bowl, toss the cheese and apple chunks with the flour. With a wooden spoon, stir in the cream. The dough will be thick and sticky.
  • Using a ice cream scoop, drop the dough onto a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until the tops are turning slightly golden. Let them cool on the pan for a few minutes, then eat immediately.
  • If you're not eating the same day, wrap the biscuits in tin foil and rewarm them in the oven.
