An easy recipe for moist homemade cinnamon apple butter bread. A perfect Fall quick-bread recipe, packed full of amazing flavors. Enjoy for breakfast or snack!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 10-inch loaf pan with baking spray. Line pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides.
In a large bowl or stand mixer fit with a paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Scrape bowl as needed. Mix in baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices. Alternate additions of apple butter, sour cream and flour. Ending with flour. Mix until fully combined and no streaks remain.
Carefully pour batter into loaf pan. Spread into an even layer.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Allow loaf to cool in pan for at least 5-10 minutes or until easy to handle. Gently run an offset spatula or thin knife along the edge of the loaf exposed to the pan. Grabbing the excess parchment paper, carefully pull up and out. Allow loaf to cool completely on a wire rack prior to slicing.
Store sliced apple butter bread in a large sealable bag or other airtight container for up to several days.
