1/4CParmesan , optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to the broil setting. Halve your loaf of bread down the center to create 2 layers. Mix softened butter, garlic and parsley in a small bowl. Spread mixture over both halves of bread well.
On a baking sheet, broil bread for 2 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Broil an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from oven. Using a serrated knife, carefully cut into thick slices.
