Ingredients
2Cpure watermelon juicechilled
1 1/2Cheavy cream
3/4Cgranulated sugar
Pinchsalt
1/2Cmini chocolate chips
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine chilled pure watermelon juice with sugar and salt, stirring to dissolve sugar. Stir in heavy cream. Churn according to manufacturer's directions. In the last 10 minutes of churning, slowly add mini chocolate chips.
Transfer mixture to a freezer safe container. Freeze until solid.
Notes
Recipe serves roughly 4-6, yields 1 quart.** Watermelon juice may be found in some stores near other organic juices. Alternatively, blend watermelon chunks until smooth and strain out the solids.An original recipe from Baked by Rachel
