Top 10 Recipes of 2015
The top 10 reader favorite recipes of 2015! A collection of sweet and savory recipes, perfect for a variety of occasions!
Every year, when this time rolls around, it’s fun for me to look back and see which recipes were the biggest hits. Sometimes I’m taken completely by surprise and other times, not so much. I like to compare to previous years too. In the past, some were primarily savory and others sweet and then there were some with a nice balance of both. I’d say this year is a perfect balance. Though, savory recipes were definitely a big hit this year and I can’t blame you one bit. As much as I love sweets, we need to eat dinner too, right?!
I feel like recipes shared in the end of the year get the short end of the stick. They don’t have nearly the same chance as earlier recipes do to make it in the top 10. With that being said, here are my honorable mentions that didn’t make the list…this year or last. I know this is from 2014, but since it was in December of last year… it didn’t stand a chance. These snickerdoodle blondie bars were one of the biggest hits of the year. If you haven’t made them yet, you need to add them to your baking list asap! They’re all around perfect and super flavorful.
My honorable mentions for this December…because I couldn’t choose just one. Gingerbread cookies – an older recipe with updated photos that turned out to be a huge hit. These cookies are packed with flavor and are truly super easy to make. Make them soft or crisp. Decorate or eat them plain. The options are endless! And… gingerbread cupcakes with brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese frosting. A small batch recipe for moist and flavorful holiday cupcakes that are sure to be a hit at any party!
And now… for the official top 10 list. Your favorites from the many recipes shared this past year.

I love that picture for the egg-free cookie dough, because it looks ready to be dived into with those spoons.
Thanks Erin!
Soup! It is finally cold and now I want some soup big time. Love that these fell into the top recipes for the year.
Thanks Emily!
I love, love all your recipes–so tasty!!
Thanks so much Kristen!
Oh yes! I so want that taco chili!
Thanks Jenn. Enjoy! :)
Lemon meringue cupcakes!!! Have a Happy New Year :)
One of my favorites too. Thanks Meli!
Hi Rachel
It was fun to look at these recipes and beautiful photos again. I loved the twice baked potatoes. How did you determine which were the most popular? Comments/downloads….? They all look yummy to me.
Thanks so much Carla. As for how they were determined, it was based on the number of views per post. It would be far too complicated to do it any other way.
Those sticky buns are basically what dreams are made of – so epic!
Thanks Jenn!
#9 though. I mean. I die.
Haha thanks Amy! :)
You’re so right about the end of the year recipes!! They never get enough traction yet to make it on the list and by next year, they won’t ever make it on the list cause they were last year’s recipe. Boo! Anyway, what a delicious looking year!! Here’s to 2016, friend! xoxo
From here on out, totally doing the honorable mentions because it’s just not fair to the December recipes otherwise.
I am so excited by all these slow cooker recipes on your list. I just received a new smaller CrockPot that I wanted to make soups in. Can’t wait to put it to good use! And YUM … what great recipes!
I hope you enjoy them and your new slow cooker, Sarah! :)
