Cranberry Margaritas

Simple homemade cranberry margaritas. A festive drink for Fall celebrations or any day of the year!

Easy cranberry margarita recipe from @bakedbyrachel A festive Fall cocktail!

I’ve mentioned how our Falls can be bizarre, ranging from warm to snowy and everywhere in between. Our wet weather the last 4 years have meant that we never got to make a giant leaf pile for the kids to jump in. The leaves would fall and then it would rain. Of course! Or a combination of falling and rainy, but you get the idea… wet leaves and piles don’t mix. So it never happened. Since we’ve lived in this house, we’ve only made one giant pile. One. Kind of sad, but hey, what can you do if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Today everything was going right. I finished editing and organizing pictures… which by the way, organizing pictures for YEARS is obnoxious. So, don’t be like me. Don’t let images pile up on your computers. Print them. Cherish them. Do something with them. I started out doing digital albums and changed my mind wanting to go back to classic photo albums. SO. Much. Work. Years of work.

But back to the leaves… it was a ridiculously gorgeous New England day in the mid 70’s! After some frustration, I got the leaf blower started and was on my way, creating an epic pile for the kids to play in. The smiles. The giggles. It was all worth the soreness I’m currently feeling in my arms and shoulders. Leaf blowers really need to be lighter weight.

I mentioned the other day how I’m literally the last person on the planet to hear Adele’s new song. I’m now completely obsessed with it. Of course I say that now but ask me in another year and I may be singing a different tune. No pun intended.

For now, it’s on repeat.

Also, I may have mentioned previously how much I loved Pitch Perfect. I don’t go to the movies much because it can get so expensive and with how quickly they make their way to DVD I’d just assume wait for them to make their way to Netflix. So, I wait. I’m finally getting to see Pitch Perfect 2. I was hoping it’d be just as good as the first. I’ve heard it didn’t meet expectations for many. Hopefully it’s still enjoyable. We shall see…

I’m a fruity drinker. Another thing I’ve talked about before. Sorry. Broken record here.

I’ve loved cranberry juice for-ever! Love it. Growing up on the south shore of MA, I was surrounded by cranberry bogs. I ventured to Plymouth plenty, though never made it to the cranberry festival. It’s on my to-do list! Someday.

Until then, I’ll continue enjoying one of my favorite cocktails. This has been one of my favorite drinks for years! It’s perfectly sweet and tart, just as any cranberry recipe should be. And, it’s super easy to throw together. No special simple syrup required!

These simple cranberry margaritas are a festive cocktail, perfect for all of your Fall and Winter celebrations… or any night of the week! Garnish with fresh cranberries and limes for fun presentation.

The perfect margarita for all cranberry fans! Add this easy cranberry margarita to your plans!

First off, I LOVE these gorgeous pictures! Second, I had to laugh, a couple of weeks ago I pulled out the leaf blower to make piles for my kids too and the second I picked it up I threw out my back! Why are they so heavy?? Anyway, I love these margs. I need to drink these while watching Pitch Perfect 2 as well :)

Thanks so much Lauren! And yes, seriously they’re way too heavy. My arms are still sore from last week!

I’m a fruity drinker too. Doesn’t matter what time of year it is, I always go for the fruity cocktails. These cranberry margaritas look so good, I know I’d get myself into trouble with a pitcher of these near me!

Can this be made into frozen margaritas? Just add ice?

Be careful how much ice you use, but it should be just fine.
