Happy Halloween!

A few weeks ago we had a particularly foggy morning. It was the perfect opportunity to visit some of the older cemeteries in the area. I’ve always found cemeteries fascinating, the older the better. They have more character and obviously tons of history.

It seems fitting to share a few of the photos today!

Have a happy, safe and spooktacular Halloween!

I LOVE Halloween!! But I don’t do scary. Even the thought of walking through a cemetery…just…no. Great pictures, though Rachel.

Haha so if you ever get lost near a cemetery that’d be the perfect time to spook you?

Rachel I love these!! Cemeteries freak me out but I am so completely enamored with the history of them too. When I had an Ancestry.com account I looked up the names of those people I saw in cemeteries and learn more about their lives – I actually learned cool things about people! And yes, I know, I’m weird haha

Anyway – these are awesome , such cool history and soooo spooky!!

Love, love, love! My inner goth is in total delirium. I love old cemeteries…probably for the exact same reasons you do. Gorgeous photography. Just beautiful. I’m so glad you took the opportunity to go out and shoot when the atmosphere and mood was just right. Thanks for sharing, Rachel! P.S. Mentioning you in my next blog post. Working on it right now to post later today. xo

G’day Rachel, I have a fascination with old cemeteries, true!
When I was in Ireland, they actually had tours while you could do grave chalkings too!
    Happy Post Halloween! Cheers! Joanne

I thought I was the only one who did this! My mom and I spent tons of time researching our family tree and then going back to see where our ancestors were buried. So I have this weird obsession with grave yards. I find them oddly beautiful and peaceful. There is one really old big one in Derry that I used to walk in during my lunch breaks way back when.
