It’s a week post-Thanksgiving, have you completely switched gears? Are the leftovers gone or are you still clinging on to the last remaining crumbs of pie and slivers of turkey in the fridge? Once our family celebration was over, I was so completely ready to move on to Christmas. I’ve been thinking about Thanksgiving since sometime in October. Ready to move on was seriously putting it lightly. I love Thanksgiving, I truly do but I needed a change of pace.

So here we are… cookies and sweets galore! Are you ready to get your baking on?! I mean that’s kind of what happens in December, right? Besides the shopping and decorating, you’re planning what cookies and sweets to make for a pot-luck, make for teachers, bus drivers and mail man or lady. You’re deciding what fabulous new addition you need to make and share with friends and family near and far or to leave out for Santa! It’s almost torture thinking about all of the goodies and I think I just heard my sweet tooth shed a tear… if that’s even possible.

From cranberries, to peppermint and chocolate goodies. Cookies and cheesecakes, to name a few. Here are some family approved sweet treats from years past, that are sure to be a hit with your family too!

Also… if you’re new to Baked by Rachel, be sure to sign up for my feed via RSS or e-mail and of course Facebook and Twitter! I have some amaaaazing things coming up and I’d hate for you to miss any of it!
