Jalapeño Popper Pizza
Extra cheesy thin crust jalapeño popper pizza with salty bacon crumbles! Your favorite appetizer in pizza form!
Book update! I finally finished This Girl, the third in the Slammed series. It turned into my midday school pickup. So, I basically read it 15 minutes at a time, which is why it took longer than usual! My summertime reads go so much faster! More time to do whatever. Less rushing around. Anyway…the book! I enjoyed the first two. In fact, I loved the first one. But this one let me down. I had a feeling going into it that I shouldn’t bother, but I chose to read it anyway because I wanted more of the characters. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good, just not amazing. A retelling of the second book from a different point of view … eh.
So, now I’m ready to tackle something new. And maybe even not take quite so long to read this one. I have my eye on a few possibilities, but could end up going in an entirely different direction. Half of the time my decision is based on a combination of price and ratings so far… not to mention the obvious, the storyline! I can’t completely rely on rating alone. I was one of the few that hated Gone Girl when everyone else seemed to love it. There’s a risk in choosing books. You can have high hopes and be let down in such a huge way. Here’s to hoping that isn’t the case with my next pick! Are you reading anything amazing right now?
It’s pizza time… because why not?! And because the BIG game is almost here! It’s all about the commercials, the halftime show and of course… the food! Not that we need an excuse to eat pizza, but if there ever was a reason, this is a really good one!
You absolutely have to add this pizza to your game day plans. It’s the perfect combination of two classics! An appetizer/pizza mashup!
Easy homemade thin crust four cheese jalapeño popper and bacon pizza!! It’s a mouthful. A ridiculously fun and spicy mouthful!
You’ll be glad you ditched the take-out and made this instead! So fun. So flavorful! An absolute must make for game day or your next pizza night!

So glad you enjoyed it, Kris!
Is the dough soft or slightly crispier?
It can be soft or extra crispy, it depends on how long you cook it.
Awesome pizza! And I HATED Gone Girl too…
Thanks, Deb! :)
Perfect for my overabundance of jalapenos peppers. What better way to use them but on a pizza.
Enjoy!
Unbelievably delicious. Used frozen pre-made dough and Jalapenos from my garden
So glad you enjoyed it!
Made this today to try it out since my son was home. Did not do the homemade pizza dough but got a bakery pizza dough from Publix. The pizza was awesome and my 19 year old son inhaled half of it! His only request (and I agreed) was to add more jalapeño slices next time (I only
did 2 jalapeños this time) and to leave some slices with the seeds and membranes to add more heat. Thank you for sharing this. Definitely adding this one to our family pizza nights 😁
So glad you both enjoyed it!
