S’more Martini
This s’more martini is a fun adult twist on a classic dessert. A perfect cocktail year round!
I have fond memories of eating s’mores with my grandmother. They weren’t enjoyed around or even cooked over a campfire, but the memory is really what matters… and of course the taste! She wasn’t known for her cooking, but her s’mores definitely left a lasting impression on me.
A classic treat enjoyed by many, starting in our childhood years and continuing on for ages. Food brings us together and evokes memories. I’m sure everyone has a memory of at least one time they were eating a s’more and if not that, something else. We laugh, we cry – we eat!
In David Venable’s new book Back Around the Table: An “In the Kitchen with David” Cookbook, he brings families together through comforting food. Many classic dishes are reinvented or just made easier. Full color photos, of many of the recipes, have you eating with your eyes and wanting to dive into the book further.
From fun appetizers to comforting dinners and luscious desserts, David’s cookbook has it all. You’ll want to plan an afternoon to sit down and really dive into this book!
With my love for s’mores, in all shapes and sizes, trying out David’s s’more martini was a no brainer!
A classic dessert with a fun adult twist. Chocolate and graham cracker crumb rimmed glasses, filled with a smooth chocolate s’more concoction and topped off with marshmallow… toasted to perfection if desired.
This s’more martini is a perfect addition to any holiday party or gathering. Have a mess free s’more any time of the year!
S'more Martini
Ingredients
- 1/4 C chocolate syrup
- 2 graham crackers finely crushed
- 2 marshmallows
- 1/2 C marshmallow vodka
- 1/2 C chocolate milk
- 1/2 C heavy cream
Instructions
- Add chocolate syrup to a small rimmed plate. Add finely crushed graham crackers to a second rimmed plate or low bowl. Using two 8oz martini glasses, carefully dip the rim of one into the chocolate sauce. Immediately dip in graham cracker crumbs. Repeat with second glass. If desired, drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of the glass. Place in the freezer to harden for 30-60 minutes.
- Drink mixture may be prepared ahead, by combining ingredients and chilling until ready to serve. Alternately, fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and half of the remaining liquid. Shake well and strain into one of the prepared glasses. Repeat with remaining liquid and glass. Serve with a marshmallow and toast, if desired.
- Enjoy immediately.

Thanks Kristen! :)
Have owned the cookbook for a couple of weeks- like every recipe I’ve had time to try! Saving this one for when all the work is done and the relaxing is beginning ! Love the toasted marshmallow!
You’ll definitely have to give it a try! :)
Wow great recipe, and photos. Pinning!
Thanks Amy! :)
OK, I definitely didn’t know marshmallow vodka even existed until 2 minutes ago. I’m not usually a huge fan of buying a bottle of flavored vodka, since I feel like I make two drinks with it and then it just sort of sits around and collect dust. *But* I feel like this martini is so perfect for the holidays, that who could resist? I have a feeling a bottle wouldn’t last long at a holiday party!
It would absolutely disappear at a party! :)
I love the graham coated rim and the toasted marshmallow, amazing!
Thanks Amanda!
I am a sucker for anything s’mores – throw in some marshmallow vodka and I’m in heaven! I love that toasted marshmallow on top!
Thanks Jamie! :)
