Weekend Love: 1/29/12

At what age does time start to speed up? I remember being in elementary school and thinking the days, especially school days, dragged on forever. They were seemingly never-ending. Of course, summers were never long enough and neither were school vacations. Now time goes by too fast but somehow never when you want it to, like over school vacation.

Ahh life.

My latest obsession is Pandora. The Mr has talked about it for seemingly ages but I just recently caved into seeing what it was all about. As a radio broadcasting major, I’m ashamed to admit how much I love it.

Please tell me you’ve watched A Night at the Roxbury? When this song comes on do you immediately start doing the head dance? You can tell me, it’ll be our little secret.

We watched Abduction. It was good, not awesome, just good.

Little man is a rolling fool. I’ll put him down in one spot and he’s across the room in no time. He seems to think it’s pretty funny too.

Homemade, Trader Joe’s or the real version… admit you love Oreos. They’re irresistible! I wish there were a double double stuffed version though. Double stuffed doesn’t have enough filling, which means original is even worse… best if used for for pie or cheesecake crust.

In case you missed it:
Homemade Bagel Chips – These are so easy and really tasty. I can’t wait to make them again.
Buffalo chicken dip – You love buffalo chicken, right? Make room for this on your snack table next weekend. You will be glad you did!

Link love – Super Bowl edition:
Jalapeno popper dip – Add a Pinch – I love how creamy this is. Best of all, it’s quick and easy!
Spinach & sausage mini calzones – Lady Gouda – This is a fun pizza alternative! There are so many filling possibilities too.
Queso dip – Two Peas and Their Pod – I’m a huge cheese dip fan, the spicier the better!
Super Bowl Sundaes – In Katrina’s Kitchen – Don’t forget the desserts, they need a place at the party too! I love that sprinkles represent the fans.
Cherry Coke float cupcakes – Brown Eyed Baker – I can’t picture a dessert table without cupcakes. Moist cake and frosting is always a good thing.

Reading this reminds me that I want a bagel now. And that dip- mmm. And over the summer they had a triple oreo but hubby was disappointed that the filling wasn’t double stuffed. Boo lol

Pandora is my favorite, I really love how it plays the music I like. If I am not in the mood for that song I like that I can skip it for a month. I love how it finds similar songs to the one song that I love and create the station for.

lol That’s twice now you’ve posted that Pandora picture and I’ve gotten the song stuck in my head for hours! I love Pandora too, although I kind of accidentally ruined one of my channels. It started out as a pop station and has since turned to almost all country because I said I liked a Taylor Swift song. But oddly, my Taylor Swift station plays mainly pop stuff. Who knows..

I could live on Oreo’s, and anyone who says they don’t like them is lying! They can never have enough stuffing!
    Great round-up this week!
