Wordless Wednesday…Almost

Any bird experts? Hubs thought dark-eyed junco but every image and detail listing I’ve found states they have a pale pink or yellow tinted bill/beak… this bird obviously has a dark one. Any help? Just curious.

Looks like a fly catcher. Maybe an acadian?

It’s a flycatcher, family Tyrannidae. I would guess a wood pewee: see here- http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/583/_/Eastern_Wood-Pewee.aspx

I just stumbled this page, so I don’t know where these photos were taken, you should make sure that you live within the range of this species, otherwise it’s likely something else.

  After a bit more research today I think it’s an Eastern Phoebe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Phoebe Of course I’m not a bird expert but it’s the closest I’ve been able to find.
