An Apple A Day

I have something seriously amazing in store for you. And me too. Though it’s kind of torturous for me because I don’t get to taste all of the things coming up. Pure torture! You know how much I seriously adore apples. I’m completely head over heels obsessed with them. Last year I probably made 4 or 5 apple crisps. Serious love! And the very day my local apple farm opened this year, I was there.

Do you love secrets? Who doesn’t love secrets? The more amazing and juicier the better, right? I know I do, but this one was SO hard to keep quiet. I’ve been practically bursting at the seems with excitement… for months!! No lie.

For the next four weeks…29 days…we’ll be celebrating all things APPLE!!!

Everyday for the month of September, very talented bloggers will be sharing amazing and irresistible apple recipes right here on Baked by Rachel. Be sure to check back in each day to see what’s cooking, and to keep an eye out for some very special giveaways! You don’t want to miss any of this!

To get you geared up for a month of apples, check out the apple roundup from last year. 34 complete crave worthy apple recipes!

In addition to checking in here daily, follow the apple party throughout social media:
-Like Baked by Rachel on Facebook
-Follow Baked by Rachel on Twitter and the hashtag #appleadayparty (on both Twitter and Instagram). PS if you’re on Instagram, you can follow me under BakedbyRachel.
-Plus, I’ll be adding all of the amazing recipes to an apple board on Pinterest! :)

I’ll be updating this page throughout the month, to add all of the fun new recipes.

Are you as excited as I am?!

I can hardly wait. One of the first things that turned my on to cooking was when, at the age of 10, my Father told me the apple pie I baked was better than my Mother’s.

Apples have always had a special place in my heart.

I’m looking forward to seeing all the delicious recipes!!

I am so excited that apples are back in season. They’re one fruit that I eat year round because I love them so much. But they’re SO much better this time of year. Apple picking is a yearly tradition.

Ahh, it’s September! Luckily, I came home to about 30 apples from this week’s CSA haul waiting for me after a weekend away. I need to get on my recipe! Excited for the party! :)
