Cheesesteak Pizza
Three cheese thin crust cheesesteak pizza with green peppers and onions. Your favorite cheesesteak, reinvented into the perfect homemade pizza!
I’m pretty obsessed with pizza night, as you may or may not have noticed. It’s something the entire family looks forward to, both for the homemade pizza and movie! It’s a fun weekly tradition. We try to pick out a new kids/family friendly movie each week, but occasionally there are some repeats. It happens! We have our favorites we happily watch again and again. I may or may not be totally okay with watching Frozen still. I only hope the second is just as good!
This past week we had the pleasure of watching Big Hero 6. I really wasn’t sure what to expect of it, but it turned out to be such a great movie. If you haven’t had the chance to see it yet, I highly recommend it! Perfect for kids and adults. It’s funny, action packed and full of touching moments too!
Have you seen any great kids movies lately – new or old? I’m always looking for recommendations!
Last week I couldn’t resist the chance to play around with our pizza toppings again. This time, reinventing a classic sandwich! Now, this might not be exactly how everyone likes their sandwiches, but it’s the general idea behind it. Meat, cheese, veggies…perfection! And a hint of heat and garlic!
A thin crust cheesesteak pizza with a white olive oil and garlic sauce, topped off with shaved steak, peppers, onions and three varieties of cheese! An absolute must make for your next pizza night!

I didn’t realize they were already on the 6th series of big hero?! Maybe it’s cause I don’t have kids and don’t realize when these movies come out. LOVE this cheesesteak PIZZA instead of a sandwich!!
It’s based off of a comic book series, but this is only the first movie. The 6 stands for the number of heroes in the movie. You should watch it sometime! :)
Oh, My this looks great. Philly Cheesesteak is my fave sandwich soI can imagine it would be fantastic as a pizza. Thanks for this one.
Thanks so much Margaret!
I loved Big Hero 6. My boyfriend and I watched it last weekend and it provided a lot of laughs. :) This cheesesteak pizza looks great. I don’t eat red meat, but I could sub in some chicken on mine!
Chicken would be a perfect substitution! :)
This looks like HEAVEN, Rachel! I adore pizza and am always looking for new ways to switch things up. A cheesesteak version sounds incredible!

The magic age when they start to understand and laugh at movies is awesome! You’re going to have so much fun :)
What a great idea for pizza toppings! I need to get back to making pizza at home instead of always getting take-out. This looks like such a delicious version! Big Hero 6 was really cute, And these are old, but we love the Despicable Me movies, so funny for adults and kids too.
So much better than take-out! Definitely give it a try sometime. :)
Your pizzas always look so fabulous, it makes me want pizza immediately! This one is no exception. And making a cheesesteak sandwich into a pizza is a great idea, it looks so good!
Thanks so much Stacey!
It’s 8:30 at night and I’m starting to feel hungry. And I WANT THIS!
Haha! Thanks Mary :)
Thank you for this tomato free pizza recipe. I’m allergic to tomatoes but love pizza. So this is right up my alley.
Made this tonight, didn’t let dough rise for the 1 hour and it turned out fine…rolled very thin. Recommend you make this ASAP…it was delicious!
So glad you enjoyed it, MJ!
