Introducing

Sorry for the slow announcement and update, but I’ve kind of had my hands full. I hope a few pictures will make up for that.

Meet my lil man…Evan Matthew. Born one week ago today, weighing in at 9 pounds 10 ounces. I certainly wasn’t expecting him to be that big.

If you recall, I had a little guessing game going on for his birthday and then weight should multiple people select the same date. Congrats Matt! You guessed Sept 9 and 8.9lbs – making you the closest in weight on the right date.

I promise to resume regular recipe posts as soon as I can. I have lots of yummy ideas planned for the coming months but if there is something specific you’d love to see or you just want to say hi, feel free to contact me on facebook, twitter or email me: Rachel(at)bakedbyrachel(dot)com

On another note… we also celebrated a very special second birthday over the weekend!

My baby girl is now 2!! Happy birthday cutie pie. When did you get so big?!

Chris – Both girls love him! It’s definitely going to be a change having a boy in the house but so far so good :) I’m sure they’ll convince him early on to play dress up though haha. And thanks for being kind on the weight. Really I had no idea he’d be as big as he was!!
