Lunch

It’s not diner food but it’ll have to do. Because you know, diner grilled grilled cheese and fries is basically the absolute best when it comes to those items.

And yes, that’s the only time you will ever catch me eating a tomato substance.

Next time you make fries or wedges at home, add a little zing to them with cayenne. Just a sprinkle. It’s all you need. Then you can  happily end your meal with ice cream to wash away the pain in your mouth. :)

On a side note: do you prefer ice cubes, crushed ice or no ice? I lean more towards crushed ice because you can eat it quicker.

Did you have anything yummy today?

I hate ice. I like straws so it doesn’t get in my way. But I could eat ketchup with a spoon. ha

Yum! Tasty lunch! Home made diner food is always better than the real thing, and those wedges look like they hit the spot. Funny, I just posted our own “diner food” today,Reuben casserole . We must be on the same vibe :)

PS – Crushed ice all the way :)

I’m a crushed ice kind of gal. But I don’t have a way to get them like that at home so it is whole at home and crushed at cool people’s houses.

I’m with Nicole. I hate ice. I’d much rather my drink be warm than filled with ice. I’ve even trained the girls in the cafe at work to make my “iced” lattes with no ice.

I like the pebble shaped ice. You know the kinda, commonly referred to as ‘the best ice.’ Taco Bell used to have it. It’s considered cubed, but crunches perfectly in your mouth. Blah blah. This morning I had a dream about grilled cheese, SHOCKING. But I fried it, in my dream. Now I want some, with fries, REAL bad!!!

Hmmm I’m not sure if I’ve ever had that ice. Most places around here have smallish cubes but not round pebbles. That almost sounds similar to what you’d get in a slush puppy though – or at least the closest I might find. I dare you to fry grilled cheese tonight – do it.

I am not a fan of ice at all. But in the instances a beverage calls for it, I much prefer cubed over crushed. That grilled cheese looks awesome. I wish that was what I had for lunch!

Gotta love the classic grilled cheese. I don’t use ice for the most part. It always gives me the shivers.

Love grilled cheese. Have you tried it on rye? The best. And ice… has to be crushed!
