On The 4th Day of Christmas…A Calphalon Waffle Maker Giveaway Closed!

Maybe you already know how ridiculously obsessed I am with breakfast. Or maybe you don’t. And in that case… I am seriously head over heels in love with breakfast any time of the day, for any meal of the day. Eggs, bacon, toast, English muffins and waffles make me happy, oh so very very happy. But not pancakes, those are in a separate category of their own and they need to be super duper special and amazing for me to want to eat them.

This past weekend while at the Mixed Conference, I got pretty giddy when I saw the giant pile of bacon… okay and of course when I saw there was a waffle station at breakfast. I mean come on, how perfect and fun is that? I got to make my own Belgian waffle and soak it in sweet maple syrup with a side of cinnamon apples. Are you drooling yet? Because I kind of am.

For the longest time I was being tortured by waffle posts from other bloggers. You see… I didn’t have a waffle iron, but grew up eating waffles so I loved them and yet had no way of enjoying them besides frozen or restaurant. How completely awful and totally wrong of me to not have one. So I went on the hunt for the perfect waffle iron. That lead me to Calphalon’s no peak waffle maker.

It not only creates perfectly thick waffles in your own desired shade from light to dark but also tells you when it’s done. That’s where the no peak aspect comes in. No more opening the lid or questioning if it’s done yet, the machine does nearly all of the work for you. Plus, isn’t it just pretty? A nice and sleek stainless steal design with a silicone wrapped stay-cool handle! PS it also can stand up for storage!

i love pancakes. particularly ones with things in them (chocolate chips, blueberries, I have even done Reese’s peices before). With REAL maple syrup. None of that fake stuff for me.

    Now I’m hungry!

I love a pile of buttermilk pancakes. That said, my husband makes a mean pecan waffle. He could really use this (to make waffles for me). :D

Not that the two necessarily go together, but my TWO favorite breakfast foods are bacon and scones … not necessarily in that order. ;)
