Top 10 Recipes of 2012

The end of the year always seems to be a time for reflection. In this case, it’s fun to look back on the recipes made and enjoyed during the last 12 months. Before we take a trip down recipe lane, here are a few facts from the year in posts: I shared 122 recipes throughout the year, plus 22 guest posts during An Apple A Day.

The ratio of savory to sweet was split nearly evenly, but again… a month of amazing apple recipes surely helped with that! Which also makes complete sense why the top 10 would be split pretty evenly as well. Clearly you’re a very well rounded group of people, enjoying both sweet treats and savory dishes. It makes sense, because who lives off of just sweets… even if we really want to some days!

I’m going to hazard a safe bet that an excessive amount of cheese, bacon, butter, chocolate and of course apples were consumed this year. I promise to repeat that in the coming year because one can’t do without those very vital ingredients. Right?

I want to take just a minute to thank you all for being such loyal fans and readers. I truly enjoy each e-mail and comment… (okay, just the nice ones ;) )they’re a nice way of knowing you’re reading and making my recipes. I really do love hearing from you! I’ve also loved interacting with you on Facebook and Twitter. If you’re new to Baked by Rachel, you can easily find me on: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. That’s a whole lot of gorgeous and yummy on one page! I remember when you posted that apple snickerdoodle cobbler…I almost fainted. I did, however, miss that breakfast pizza. Making that! Happy New Year to you and your family, Rachel!
