Lime Sherbet
Creamy homemade lime sherbet, bursting with flavor! A fun frozen treat to cool off with.
Puppy update! She’s still ridiculously adorable and super fun… and growing like a weed! Seriously, I hadn’t expected how fast she would really grow. I’m amazed by how big she’s already gotten from the time she came home with us. And to think, she’ll be fully grown by a year. That’s so hard to believe… basically a giant puppy. Given that she’s a water breed, I expected her to have some kind of love for it, but my preference would’ve been for to not be so obsessed with pouncing in her drinking water. It’s comical, but messy. I can only hope she loves swimming in big pools (ponds, etc) as much as she loves splashing in her kiddie/puppy pool and drinking bowl. I’d say chances are pretty good, but I certainly don’t want to jinx anything either.
I finished the latest season of House of Cards and even though I enjoyed it, I can’t say it was as good as previous seasons. There weren’t the same kind of shocking moments as previous seasons. Sure, there were some obvious ones but it kind of let me down a bit. I’ll keep holding out hope that next season wows me. There’s definite room for some major things to take place in the future. Also… Orange Is The New Black and Orphan Black are both back this week!! I love that we don’t have to wait until fall for all of the new shows to start up anymore. It seems like there are releases each season now, which means there’s always something fun to watch. I’ll be even more excited when Game of Thrones returns… even though it’s the final season. What shows have you excited lately?
I’ve hit that time of year where I think of ice cream and other summery treats 90% of the time. Gimme all of the frozen treats and other fun ways to cool off. I want them all!
Ever since I was little, I’ve always been obsessed with sherbet. I love that big bold pop of fruity flavor. Whenever I’d go to an ice cream stand with my family, I’d always get some variety of sherbet… in a cone and topped off with chocolate sprinkles. The sprinkles were a must!
I’ve already shared many varieties of sherbet, including: rainbow, watermelon, strawberry and classic orange sherbet. It was obvious to me what should be next…
Lime!
It’s light and refreshing, while also being bold and flavor popping! For anyone that loves sherbet, this is a must make!

Citrus flavors are my favorite, and when I was a kid I used to eat lime sherbet all the time. My husband doesn’t like sherbet so I rarely eat it now, but I SO want to make this!
All the more reason to make it… you can enjoy it all! :)
Love watching the insta stories of your puppy! I’m trying to convince my husband we need a puppy! ;) The lime flavor is so refreshing for summer. It’s been too long since I’ve made sherbet!
Thanks Jessica!! Fingers crossed you’re able to convince your husband ;)
Aww, loved reading the puppy update! So cute!

Thanks so much Taylor! :)
My daughter also loves chocolate sprinkles. BTW Rachel, the lime sherbet looks amazing. Thanks for sharing dear. :)
Thanks, Puja!
Good flavor choice. :) This looks refreshing and perfect for summer!
Thanks Lexi!
This was delicious!! It’s tastes like a lime creamsicle. I didn’t have whole milk so I used 2 percent and I had key limes and it still came out awesome. I have forwarded the recipe to others and saved it for future use… a must!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing. :)
what if you dont have an ice cream churn
For best results, an ice cream maker is recommended. Alternatively, you can attempt to beat cream mixture to add volume prior to combining and freezing. This will not offer the same end result though.
